Day in the Life - Cthulhu

"Cthulu, you funny fat bastard"

date: April 23, 2009

I thought it was great - so funny and that weird little opera song at the end was classic. It makes the stories seem less freaky. I like that it was short too, the perfect length.

Author's Response:

You're one of the few people who didn't have a problem with the length, and for that I thank you.
Glad you liked it!

In Solitude

"Resonant"

submission: In Solitude

The simple drawings and the music were amazing. It was a little bit long, but I liked everyone's scenario. I thought they were all great depictions about what loneliness is all about. I have a request though: If you made the music, would you mind submitting it to the music section so we could download it? I'm resorting to leaving the browser with the animation open just so I can hear the song! Someone below said it best - the music's Danny Elfman-esque.

Messed-Up Bible Stories 5

"Bldn ur towrz n tarn em dwn"

date: March 3, 2009

Hahaha I love the voices - perfect inflections. You know your bible stories and this was a great parody. My fav. part was the "it's not like anything will be lost in translation..." And I actually thought it was the perfect length.

"Thanks"

Hey, I used your song in the July writing contest (Scintillating Sounds) and placed - thanks! It's a good song - I like the combo of rock and old blues. I would have preferred more of a blues feel to it, because sometimes it was like the electric overwhelmed the blues feel. I also like how slow the tempo was and how clear the music comes through - never got too high-pitched. I'm especially partial to the little fade out at the end of the song. You guys are talented :-)

Thanks mate. I'm glad you liked it, and I'm even more glad that you found it useful. I guess you can say I'm Glad All Over.

Oh, and by the way, if you like the combination of old blues and rock, try to check out "Vodka Blues", and maybe "Loneliness Guaranteed". Just try 'em out, I think they'll fit your taste.

I seriously thought this song was from a professional album when I first heard it. It's kind of other-worldly and it fits really well with the animation, kinda makes you feel sad and lonely. Props for the awesome music!

"Really good"

submission: Arozo
date: July 9, 2008

When it first starts out, it sounds like it would belong on the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack. Really good - I like how it changes a lot, but stays sad. I got to this song from listening to the one on the Monster Dreaming flash, in case you were interested. Sorry about your cousin.
